As a student who is interested in pursuing a career in science, I wanted to create a resource for students like me that will help guide them into finding what they are passionate about in science and medicine. I was inspired to create In Pursuit of Science due to the lack of resources I could find that would help me discover what career in medicine I wanted to pursue in the future. Ever since I was a young girl, I have dreamed of becoming a doctor. Now the question is what kind? Following this passion, I have had the opportunity to volunteer with medical organizations and shadow medical professionals throughout high school. This has helped solidify my choice in pursuing medicine. Since I am still not certain on which medical career interests me the most, I am here to learn along with you. I am excited to discover the endless possibilities the scientific and medical fields have to offer, and I look forward to sharing my experiences with you.
